Mooku’s Cabin Retreat Look Book

You may not hear from me very often anymore but it’s not because I’m not thinking of you. I’ve been working away on some of the things that make Fashionising.com run better and working away on my public service career.

Wedding hair combs

When it comes to accessorising for your wedding day, it’s all about the details. The shoes, the hair, the jewellery, and of course – those fabulous hair accessories!
There’s so many reasons to love being a bride-to-be this season. Gorgeous fresh floral headpieces, bohemian-inspired headdresses, flower crowns and halos, striking traditional and vintage inspired veils. All of these things are music to my ears and I just can’t get enough of them.

In the studio: Rhinestone wedding accessories for Tania

I feel so fortunate that I am able to work with so many wonderful brides from around the world. The power of the internet blows my mind every single day – crazy to think that I have now shipped to almost every continent in the world. Although I’m based in Canberra, Australia, I have worked with brides in Ireland, Finland, Sweden, South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Germany, Italy, France, Turkey, all across the UK, across the USA and Canada… and every state of Australia!  I love working online but sometime I wish I could meet my clients and give them a giant big hug!

Copenhagen & X by Troll Beads Part Two!

We were taken down to a presentation about the launch which I was really impressed with. I've always loved a chain bracelet and really liked the whole concept of 'X by Trollbeads'. The individual links come in gold, silver, rubber & bronze and you can create and change the links to create a new bracelet which is a concept I find amazing as you'll always feel like you've got a new piece of jewellery on your arm!

1920s inspired jewellery.

Anyone pursuing to recreate the modern version of the flapper girl must already know that the tumultuous decade was about more than just knowing how to dress. It was about attitude and a revolutionary spirit, as the 1920s opened up a plethora of possibilities when it came to jewellery. Elongated earrings became the ultimate style, alongside strings of pearls, Art-Deco inspired rings and fantasy brooches. Choose any of the 20s influenced styles to spice up your everyday looks and to complement your aesthetic with bits of old glamour.
