Today's Everyday Fashion: Ankle Boots

I so wanted to love these boots (last photo). They are affordable, and remind me of the amazing $1,300 studded boots by Chloe. But I want something with a little less bling, and that make a little less noise when I walk.  
The only black boots I own are in the first picture - I've had them for years and I still love them, but the stiletto is tough for running errands and casual occasions. Some of my favorites with a flat/chunky heel are below, the hunt is on. What kind of ankle boots do you like?
