An enchanted forest next door to New York

Far from the madding crowd – or in this case, New York – sits Long Island. Morfium Couture designer Jelena Malesevic tells me it feels worlds away, like a quiet country space that just happens to lie geographically close to the jutting skyscrapers of New York City. That much is clear, too, from Morfium’s shoot Refugium; the Long Island backdrop appearing as a refuge in both name and nature.
